Chapter 1

In the first chapter we learn who the main characters are;

Rob Haynes:
-Smart, kind, mischievious, relaxed, confident
-Blue eyes, hypnotizing smile, "Looks right into your eyes and for a minute you're beautiful." pg.2

Simon Glass:
-Geeky, victimized, ridiculed, hated
-"Skin like this underside of a toad, and mushy fat." pg.1, pants that were too short, plastic pocket protector, shirt tucked into underwear, crepe-soled black lace up wingtips

Bobster:
-More blow then go, fun, funny, not very oblivious

Young Steward:
-Real name Thaddeus R. Steward IV
-Gullible, believes Rob no matter what

Lance Ansley:
-Low blow, envious, bully, rude

Jeff "Coop" Cooper:
-Athletic, eats anything, not very bright, kind to his friends, easily stressed, hard life

After introductions in chapter 1, Simon is walking in the cafeteria through the tables, and Lance decides to call out Simon's name. Then making SImon embarressed by calling him out on why he wears his shirts the way he does, and making fun of how he is smarter. And while Simon is walking away, a boy named Dave Eastland decides to trip him. Making Simon fall, and lose all of his belongings. His things scattered across Commons and Rob goes to help Simon up, and get his things gathered.
